Don't Try This At Home!
Basil the Cat has been quite poorly since October. He keeps losing the use of his back legs, but for the time being the vet can keep him going with a slow acting steroid injection.

If it helps, our Corgi was in much the same position as Basil. She had disk problems and could not walk much. With some ordered bed rest and such, she is back to running through the house.
Keep coming back to look at this pic of Basils legs - then saw your comment on fb - is he leaving you? Poor Basil.
